Tales from the Desktop 2004

Tales from the Desktop  is an low-tech animation designed specifically to be viewed in an Internet browser. It was completed in 2004 using the idea of continually looping Windows 98 screen savers.

The project recycles visuals and sound-bites about destructive flash floods, hurricanes and global climate change reported in the media at the time.

Click-able buttons appear at the end of each short scene so that the viewer can move on to the next sequence of dynamic visuals and fragmented text.
