Biography
Sandra Crisp completed an art foundation course at Chester College of Art and BA (Hons) Graphic Design specialising in printmaking from Leeds Polytechnic in 1989. She received an MA in Fine art printmaking from Wimbledon School of Art in 1995 and has exhibited widely both nationally and internationally and taught art and design in various London, and UK colleges.
During her MA Sandra worked with plate lithography and since graduation has continued by developing and teaching photo etching, fine art and multimedia. For just over ten years she has also integrated various digital media processes into her work including large format ink jet prints, on-line animations and recent short artists’ films exploring 3D animation in experimental ways. Sandra continues to work and live in London.
Prizes for printmaking include Julian Trevelyan, Curwen and Artichoke award. Digital print and film/video work included in exhibitions and festivals both nationally and internationally: Moves11 International Festival of Movement on Screen the Bluecoat, Liverpool, UK. FILE!
